Testimonials
“ Ed has been working with me as an Additional Editor on Lisa McGee's latest show HOW TO GET TO HEAVEN FROM BELFAST for Netflix. Having briefed him on where I wanted to take the episodes, he applied himself brilliantly, implementing the changes with skill and speed. When called upon to heighten the tension of a scene with a flashback, his fast flashes of memories, interwoven with a multi-layered soundscape of intricate sound design and temp music score, really helped to bring clarity to the internal struggle of the characters on screen. His easy going nature makes him a joy to collaborate with and I look forward to working with him again soon. ”
Michael Lennox, Director (DERRY GIRLS, SAY NOTHING)
" Ed has worked with me on numerous shows over the last few years and in that time stepped up to Assembly Editor and Additional Editor - assembling scenes during the shoot and editing alongside directors, producers and showrunners in the fine cut. His assembled scenes on DERRY GIRLS showed great taste in performance selection with intuitive cutting rhythm for broadcast comedy. He is as comfortable with dialogue scenes as he is with big set pieces and works fast with multi-camera coverage - recently showing me a wonderful first cut of a dramatic end wedding sequence in MY LADY JANE. Ed relishes the fast-paced schedule of HETV, taking notes from execs with openness and ease and executing changes swiftly. His good humour, sensitivity and initiative have always made the edit a happy one.”
